The HBAR token grew by more than 60% after it became known that Google Cloud has joined the governing council of Hedera Hashgraph.

Hedera is developing a hash graph matching algorithm to solve many cross-border payment problems. The network has been operating since September 2019 and already offers a high level of transaction security. The Google Cloud platform is the perfect solution for achieving Hedera’s goals, namely the widespread adoption of DLT in companies such as IBM and Boeing.

Allen DAY, the developer advocate at Google Cloud, shared his vision for the project:

“Hedera has selected Google Cloud as a preferred cloud provider for its public testnets and Hedera Consensus Service ecosystem. Thanks to the extensive geographical coverage of Google’s network, developers can ensure both access and performance of their applications no matter where they are in the world.”

It is noteworthy that the Hedera Hashgraph token (HBAR) is experiencing a serious increase in value. According to CoinMarketCap, the price of the HBAR token has grown by more than 60%. Market capitalization is $130 mln, and the trading volume over the past 24 hours has reached levels of about $110 mln.
