Getty Images Partners With Candy Digital To Launch NFT

Visual content creator Getty Images has announced a multi-year partnership with NFT ecosystem developer Candy Digital. The partnership will develop a diverse portfolio of NFT products and collections based on the extensive Getty Images library of over 465 mln images, including over 135 mln analog images from the Getty Images photo archive.

Many of Getty Images' analog archival photographs have never been shown to the public before, and are exceptionally rare images from legendary photographers. Through this new partnership, Getty Images and Candy Digital will present these works alongside contemporary images in a variety of digital formats for people to view and collect.

Photo and NFT collectors will be able to seamlessly buy, sell and trade official digital collectibles on the Candy marketplace, which will support primary and secondary market transactions and purchases using credit cards and crypto payments. NFTs will be minted on the Palm blockchain.
