First DeFi Announced On Cardano

Launched in 2020, Catalyst is focused on funding and promoting the most popular Cardano-focused blockchain initiatives. IOHK software developers have shared an update on the progress of the Catalyst project and revealed two of its flagship products.

Liqwid, an innovative DeFi product built on the Cardano blockchain (ADA). It presents itself as "Cardano DeFi Lending Markets" and offers instruments that will allow users to capitalize on their dormant liquidity. Workshop Maybe is an educational ecosystem focused on Cardano's decentralized solutions (ADA).

New ideas will emerge in the Catalyst project every day, and the project team is confident that the most promising products will receive funding in 2021 to accelerate the development and implementation of Cardano-focused products.
