Fantom (FTM) Development Continues After Andre Cronje's Resignation
The Fantom Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of the Fantom (FTM) high-performance blockchain and related dApps, has released a statement to clarify the resignation of DeFi ecosystem developer Andre CRONJE, also known as “DeFi Dad.” Cronje is one of the most influential developers in DeFi and the architect of the Yearn.Finance (YFI) protocol.
According to the document, neither Cronje nor his colleague Anton NELL were the main developers of Fantom (FTM). Like other products curated by Cronje, Fantom (FTM) has its own team that is responsible for the future of Fantom. The roadmap of Fantom is still valid. The team is expanding human and technical resources:
“Fantom's technology development is continuing as normal. In fact, it is accelerating, with new hires being made.”
Andre Cronje and Anton Nell have decided to end their activities in the decentralized finance segment. They left their advisory positions at Yearn.Finance, Solidly, and others. YFI, FTM, KP3R, and other native crypto products associated with these developers saw double-digit losses almost instantly.
