Facebook To Add NFT Features To NOVI Digital Wallet

Tech conglomerate Facebook plans to enter the NFT world. This became known a day after Visa announced the purchase of CryptoPunk NFT for $150,000. Probably big tech players and financial giants foresee great opportunities in the NFT ecosystem.

On August 24, Facebook’s head of crypto and blockchain division David MARCUS, told Bloomberg:

“We’re definitely looking at the number of ways to get involved in the space because we think we’re in a really good position to do so. When you have a good crypto wallet like Novi will be, you also have to think about how to help consumers support NFTs. We’re definitely thinking about this.”

David Marcus did not reveal exactly what NFT features will be placed in the NOVI digital wallet. In addition, he confirmed last week that Facebook's NOVI digital wallet is ready to launch in major US states.
