Every little bitcoin helps: more than $50 thousand for Texas hurricane victims sent in cryptocurrency

29 August 2017 21:00, UTC

The hurricane that damaged Texas has been one of the most tremendous natural disasters the United States endured in a while. Many locals were forced to flee their homes and take shelter in neighboring districts and towns. The catastrophe is so serious that the recovery process is under constant surveillance of the President.

The cryptocurrency community in America has decided to lend a hand to those who suffered from that hurricane and flooding occurred after it hit Texas. The Crypto Show and Unsung.org sent supplies in a trailer with a pickup car. The supplies include food, water and other necessary things for those who lost their homes. All this was bought with cryptocurrency that the users donated. The Crypto Show host, in fact, was the person who drove this transport loaded with humanitarian aid, posting photos of roads and gas stations on his way to Port Aransas. He bought additional supplies along the way, as the road shops network is very well-developed in America. During his ride, more and more bitcoins appeared, as more and more people decided to participate in this noble cause.

The host of the Crypto Show, Danny Sessoms, implies that he did not expect such a huge support and thanks everybody who donated their altcoins for those in need.
