Ethereum + Sawtooth = Seth: the useful hybrid proof-of-concept

22 August 2017 21:00, UTC

Hyperledger has announced it has completed the development of a new proof-of-concept titled Sawtooth Ethereum (Seth). This blockchain technology will use both smart contracts of Ethereum and the Hyperledger Sawtooth technology partly developed by Intel.

The representative of Hyperledge Brian Behlendorf shows his enthusiasm about this technological advancement. As he told CoinDesk, this technology “… isn't just a collection of farm animals in one big barn. There really is a point to bringing these communities together and having them work out organically how they might sit on top of one another and be components into a broader architectural vision.”

Although the benefits of this platform are not yet clear enough, one can see from the Hyperledger’s announcement that the platform they offer has improved security and validation process, something that all blockchain developers are currently concerned about.
