Ether operations to become available on Bitstamp exchange
Bitstamp, the European cryptocurrency exchange, announced the launch of new currency pairs with Ethereum (ETH), CoinDesk reports. The ETH will be available to trade with USD, EUR and BTC.
Another exchange update changes the operations fee rate, making it dependable on trading volume. So now if a user’s monthly turnover on the exchange has made less than $20,000, he will have to pay a 0.25% fee, but if his turnover increases to $100,000, the fee decreases to 0.24%. If some user made over $20 million, then the fee will become 0.10%. These numbers are provided by the official site of Bitstamp.
The ETH-USD, ETH-EUR, ETH-DTC pairs will be commission-free until 1 October 2017, and before the end of the year the fees on these pairs will remain lowered. Bitstamp explains this by telling they should promote new markets.
