Ether hits new all-time high

23 November 2017 21:00, UTC

According to Coinmarketcap and other cryptocurrency-related statistics websites, Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world, has managed to reach a new all-time high quite recently on Thursday. The price became $414.90 at 15:50 UTC, which makes it a new record.

Ethereum, while not being as grand in price as Bitcoin, has managed to attract investors with its openness about its structure. One of the most notable investors recently were those who decided to establish a platform that trades Ether derivatives, making the growth of Ether very similar to the current Bitcoin positive dynamics (as, we hope, everybody knows by now, there have been several Bitcoin futures projects announced recently).

On the other hand, the price of Ether shows good dynamics throughout the whole year, which might be connected to the rise of the world’s interest in cryptocurrency. Mike Novogratz, by the way, recently stated he believes Ether is going to rise to five hundred dollars by the end of this year. He often makes bullish statements about Bitcoin, telling, for example, that it will end in $10,000 by January.
