DJ Khaled to endorse an Ethereum ICO

Khaled Mohamed Khaled, widely known as DJ Khaled, has endorsed an ICO on his Instagram. Interestingly enough, unlike other celebrities, he chose an Ethereum project instead of a Bitcoin one.

This method of promotion proved useful for ICO startups, with many celebrities occasionally posting an advertisement message – depending on their imagination, these messages can look casual enough to attract more users or, instead, get a load of criticism when they look too paid to be sincere.

We should see some new ways of celebrity advertisement as the market evolves, because this social media marketing is starting to look monotone. TV shows might become the next step.

In this case, Khaled decided to take a picture of himself on an armchair, with a bottle of wine in one hand and with a promoted payment card in another. Not very subtle, but at least better than that Paris Hilton campaign she had to quickly forget after it became known about the ICO owner involved in criminal activities in the past.
