Despite the huge management conflict, Tezos co-founder plans to launch tokens soon

The initial coin offering of Tezos might finally evolve into something more than internal management conflicts, as witnessed by the statement of one of its co-founders recently appeared in the media.

According to it, the tokens of this project might be released in the “next few weeks”. The development of the platform was hampered by the division of the project leadership. As noted by the media, the Twitter accounts of Tezos show this very clear: one account belongs to Kathleen Breitman and Arthur Breitman (T2 Foundation), another is controlled by the director of Tezos Foundation depository Johann Gevers whose methods of management were called dictatorial. The messages on possible termination of Tezos due to regulators’ concern have turned out to be false.

It is important not to confuse Tezos with Tether, a project which issues tokens allegedly backed by the real currencies. This enterprise has recently issued 146 mln new coins, which has seriously increased its market capitalization, but not the price, as “backed by the USD” also means that the price usually equals one dollar. The rumors on Tether and Bitfinex possibly lying about their assets are still not confirmed after almost a month of their initial posting.
