Dash Launches Crypto Debit Card

Dash has announced a partnership with Mexican cryptocurrency exchange Taurus.io to launch the first cryptocurrency debit card Visa in Latin America. Initially, the card will only be available to Taurus customers in Mexico.

Crypto exchange Taurus will offer the first Dash backed debit card in Latin America. The new card will be accepted in many shops in Mexico. With the Tauros mobile app, customers will be able to convert cryptocurrencies into pesos and conduct online transactions.

According to the CEO of Tauros Exchange, the cryptocurrency ecosystem in Mexico is interested in people being able to spend cryptocurrency directly. It's also worth noting that the need for contactless payments amid the coronavirus pandemic has helped accelerate product launch.
