CTO Ripple Confirms The Launch Of xCurrent 4.0

David SCHWARTZ, CTO of Ripple, confirmed on Twitter that xCurrent 4.0 is live and that user upgrade was in progress. XCurrent is one of the Ripple’s enterprise software solutions. It enables banks to settle cross-border payments with end-to-end tracking. With the help of xCurrent, banks are able to communicate with each other to confirm payments and transaction details.

According to CTO of Ripple, the updated version of xCurrent will allow users to simplify the integration process, which was previously impossible on the platform. Customers will be able to access xRapid support, simpler peer-to-peer commute, and Multi-hop, in addition to other important new features.

David SCHWARTZ also added that the upgrade process will be a complicated one. Responding to user questions, he noted that the xCurrent 4.0 architecture is different, which requires significant changes in client middleware. Despite this, the community reacted quite positively to the news of the upcoming updates.
