CryptoPunk #4464 Sold for $2.6 Mln

CryptoPunk #4464 has a new owner. The bidder purchased NFT for 2500 ETH, which is equivalent to more than 2.6 mln USD. According to the analytics platform Rarity.Tools, NFT with monkey traits is ranked 32nd among the rarest punks in a collection of 10,000 pieces. The sale was the fifth largest in the history of the collection.

Based on the estimated market value of CryptoPunk #4464, the sale was a fair deal for both buyer and seller. NFT price estimator DeepNFTValue valued the collectible at 2,595 ETH, roughly worth $2.7 mln at the time of sale.

The CryptoPunk #4464 buyer was pseudonymous NFT whale “zoomc,” whose collection now includes 24 CryptoPunk and 113 Meebits. CryptoPunk #9280 received its own $2.6 mln bid on Tuesday, two hours after CryptoPunk #4464's bid was accepted. However, the bid for CryptoPunk #9280 was not accepted.
