Cryptocurrency events, 18 January 2018: a video review

E-crone by the National Bank of Sweden - a new national cryptocurrency planned to be made in two years. Digital money will be stored on special banks accounts or cards.

The government of South Korea cannot reach mutual agreement on what to do with cryptocurrency exchanges. Some tell they should be banned and viewed equally to online casinos or even porn sites, some say such measures are not advisable. The Fair Trade Commission Chairman vouches for the second approach, telling no authority can actually do this.

Indonesia’s government is negative towards digital currencies as well. The National Police is one of the main law enforcement agencies responsible for prevention of cryptocurrency operations together with the regional central bank. Bitcoin is not welcome here - which is backed by local laws.

Quite surprisingly, the BitConnect token soars up to +300% in 24 hours amidst the negative news described yesterday.
