Court Orders Terra's Do Kwon To Comply With US Securities and Exchange Commission Requirements
The Securities and Exchange Commission is moving forward with its Mirror Protocol investigation. According to court documents, the New York District Judge ordered Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwon to comply with the Securities and Exchange Commission's Mirror Protocol investigation.
The filing, dated February 17, states that the court "reviewed all the parties’ filings” and ruled on the SEC’s application for an order requiring Terraform Lab’s compliance with its investigative subpoenas.
The CEO of Terraform Labs first received two subpoenas from the Securities and Exchange Commission in September 2021. In response, Kwon filed his own lawsuit against the US regulator, alleging that the two subpoenas were "improperly issued and served by the SEC". He also cited the SEC's failure to keep its Mirror investigation confidential.
