Brave Browser Introduces the BAT Withdrawal Function For Uphold

25 July 2019 12:53, UTC

Brave Web Browser is working on a new feature that will allow users to withdraw BAT, which was previously earned on ads. Members of the Brave community on Reddit are already discussing the possibility of moving BAT tokens after verifying the Uphold wallet.

A new feature is not yet available for the main version of the web browser. Users who want to test it should use the unstable version 0.70, which can be downloaded from GitHub.

The feature that allows users to withdraw funds from the Brave browser was one of the most expected in the BAT community. Users of certain jurisdictions can view and interact with advertisements that are displayed in the browser while surfing the Internet. If the testing phase is completed successfully, users can quickly and easily withdraw their funds through a verified Uphold account.

At the same time, many users are dissatisfied, believing that Brave needs to connect more wallets, since Uphold occasionally has problems with the provision of services — according to redditors, the wallet does not always provide the possibility of withdrawal. At the moment, Brave has not made any announcements on connecting other wallets.
