Boston Celtics Announces Partnership With Socios

On Wednesday, the Boston Celtics basketball team announced their partnership with blockchain technology firm Socios.com. Through this partnership, the 17-time world champions will join a number of sports companies already partnering with Socios. Thanks to this partnership, the number of Socios-affiliated franchises has surpassed 40 in various sports.

Socios was previously involved in the creation of digital tokens for the largest sports organizations. The list includes not only NBA clubs, but also other sports, including football, Formula 1, MMA and cricket. FC Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, NHL side New Jersey Devils, F1’s Aston Martin Cognizant and Alfa Romeo Racing, the Argentina National team are just a few of the examples.

Socios will now take a front-row seat on the Celtics website, serving as the team's presentation partner. They will be featured in all information related to the franchise and will use the Celtics logo and emblem for international marketing.
