BMW Vehicles To Be Purchased With Paycoin In South Korea

Blockchain payment platform Danal Fintech has announced a new service plan that will allow BMW vehicles to be purchased with Paycoin (PCI) in a new partnership with Samchully Motors, a South Korean luxury car dealer.

This is the first time in South Korea that a car can be fully paid for with cryptocurrency. Customers will be able to handle every step of the purchase process in Danal Fintech's PCI mobile app – from signing the contract and paying for the vehicle to the release of the purchased vehicle.

Danal has been expanding its cryptocurrency payment services since the launch of Paycoin in 2019 and has already signed contracts with major stores, café chains and fast food restaurants such as 7-Eleven, Burger King and KFC across South Korea. Customers can now pay for goods in PCI. The PCI app recently added a feature to allow users to purchase gift codes for the Google Play store.
