BitTorrent (BTT) Up Over 156%

BitTorrent (BTT) rose more than 156% on the day and traded at $0.00192 on February 9, hitting a new all-time high. As a reminder, BitTorrent was bought in 2019 by Tron CEO Justin SUN. BTT was integrated into the Tron blockchain after the acquisition.

During the same period, several altcoins are up more than 20%. These include TRX, AVAX, RUNE, EGLD, DGB, XVS, and LUNA. However, the growth of BitTorrent (BTT) is the most profitable. In fact, this is the highest growth among the top 100 cryptocurrencies. BTT has also reached an important milestone in market capitalization of $16 bln.

The massive surge in BTT was not triggered by any hype or fundamental token-related activities. This confirms the idea that the high price can only be caused by traders who buy BitTorrent. It could also be due to TRON investors who know that both tokens share the same ownership.
