Bitcoin spent its weekend on a rollercoaster

03 December 2017 21:00, UTC

As we have seen during the past weekend, Bitcoin, the most famous and expensive cryptocurrency in the world, has been traded in such a manner during the past weekend that it managed both to get to the absolute all-time high of $11,850 only for one coin and after that, drop to ten again. Its current price, at the press time, is $11,521 on Coinmarketcap.

Cryptocurrencies overall show positive growth, with Ethereum at $468 and Litecoin reaching $105 from $85 just in two or three days. An obvious advice for investors is to hold on to the sums they hold, but, on the other hand, nothing is certain when it comes to Bitcoin volatility.

One thing is certain, though: when the trend is obvious enough for people, they become bulls or bears in majority. Currently, most people who talk about Bitcoin and get to the media are bulls, with John McAfee, creator of the eponymous anti-virus, recently even vowing to eat his own genitals if the price of Bitcoin does not reach 1 million dollars per coin by 2021. For some reason, the media decided this phrase is important enough to be posted as breaking news.
