The weekend was incredibly successful for the cryptocurrency market, especially for the first coin. Despite the recent correction, Bitcoin still manages to keep above $7,000, while most altcoins show less progress in value.

The good days are also experienced by Bitcoin miners. On May 10th, Messari.io claimed that miners of the first cryptocurrency earn more than 8 times of the combined transaction fees of all altcoins listed on their website.

The report on the Messari.io website notes that in 24 hours Bitcoin miners earn about $580,000 dollars on transaction fees. Miners of Ethereum occupy the second place in this list, but earn obviously less — 68,000 US dollars per day. The next cryptocurrency is Litecoin, but it only accounts for $1,100 per day. At the same time, other assets, including Lisk, Bitcoin Cash, Monero, Dash, XRP, Dogecoin and Ethereum Classic, account for less than $1,500 over the same period.
