The largest crypto exchange Binance has entered into a partnership agreement with HTC to release a limited edition smartphone EXODUS 1 with built-in support for Binance Chain (BNB).

According to the announcement, HTC EXODUS 1 Binance Edition will be the first smartphone supporting Binance Chain in the world, and Zion Vault will be integrated with Binance DEX, which will allow users to trade directly from their phone. Zion Vault provides users with secure access to coins and decentralized applications. As Binance CEO Changpeng ZHAO noted:

“Smartphones will play a key role in the mass adoption of crypto and smartphones are the most natural devices for a hardware wallet that is simple to use and always with you.”

Zhao also noted that each smartphone can thus become both a POS terminal and a payment device, excluding most other intermediaries. According to him, innovative smartphone manufacturers understand the prospects and seek to integrate cryptocurrency for mass adoption and use.
