Argo Blockchain To Increase Mining Capacity by 204% In Q1 2020

The mining company Argo Blockchain plans to increase its capacity by 75% with more than 3,600 new Bitmain devices in the near future. By the end of the first quarter of 2020, Argo intends to install another 6384 devices and thus increase computing power by 204%.

According to the announcement, the new Antminer T17 miners will be put into operation on January 10. In the middle of last year, Argo Blockchain announced its intention to become the largest cryptocurrency miner listed on the stock exchange. The company raised $32.5 million in an initial public offering (IPO) on the London Stock Exchange.

Also today, the company announced that Peter WALL, who is a co-founder of the company and has extensive mining experience, has been appointed CEO. Against the background of this news, ARGO shares on the London Stock Exchange rose almost 6%.
