Apple adds Ripple and TRON price trackers in Stocks
Apple has added two cryptocurrencies on the list of its popular Stocks application. Last week, TRON has joined the group of tracked crypto assets, and several days later, the price of Ripple has also become available to monitor in Stocks.
The news clearly did not affect the price of both altcoins, as witnessed today on Coinmarketcap. This is natural, as the community now simply has the opportunity to watch the prices, but not to trade the corresponding assets. As witnessed by the older reports, when a crypto token becomes available to trade on a new platform, its price can seriously grow in the short term.
Cryptocurrency price trackers do not make companies liable for lost funds of the clients, as no trading opportunities are provided. This is a reason why the crypto community may see more similar services in the future.
Apple has not been engaging with digital currencies directly, but there were messages about its future intention to include Ripple’s Interledger into the Payment Request API, a move which could indirectly influence the price of the cryptocurrency.
