Popular ERC20 token wallet MyEtherWallet launches new interface MEW V5

Popular online ERC20 token wallet, MyEtherWallet (MEW) has announced their latest interface update, calling it MEW V5. 

The update was announced earlier today, focusing on MEWs goals of providing a great user experience and increasing widespread blockchain adoption.

MEW admitted that their focus was to ensure a friendly easy-to-use interface for both newcomers as well as experienced users. Also security is a top priority with the wallet, who admits they do not store any user data information or run and unnecessary ads on the website.

The latest update sees MEW upgrade to a less cluttered interface that works on any screen including a desktop, tablet or cellphone. The wallet upgrade still includes many of its core features such as checking your balance, swapping coins, and interacting with contracts.

New features include the ability to have balances load automatically, as well as notifications tool related to transactions.

MEW have also partnered with Changelly, who will operate with Bity and Kyber Network, to assist users in the balance swapping feature which will allow users to swap ERC20 tokens for other tokens directly on the wallet.

MEW have also included a token search bar, due to the amount of projects now currently available. MEW also has implemented SafeSend, an opt-in anti-fraud feature that will prevent users from accidentally sending money to a fraudster.

MEW have also implemented a variety of other software upgrades to their wallet, making it a real competitor to remain the most used online ethereum wallet.
