Premint platform, after huge losses, is working on improving additional security on their platform and working with security officials to track down the theft amount and the wallet address.

It is believed that nearly 275Ethereum tokens have been stolen from the platform, amounting to 375k. The platform has now delisted many wallets and is ready to investigate.

Many groups of hackers are continuously targeting NFTs theft from many platforms, and in the first week of July, a hack of $150,000 from Artist deekays NFTs was reported.

Most interestingly, the theft took place on Premint Ecosystem after 1 hour from when the platform informed about the warning message that will show “sign any transactions that say set approvals for all!”

Today we made a lot of great security updates to PREMINT as a continuing effort to keep collectors safe. It touched everything from the dashboard to project pages to emails. Here's a rundown:

Conclusion

It is believed that the Blockchain mechanism is one of the most secure and reliable mechanisms. Still, the number of theft in the ecosystem is not decreasing, and it is reportedly coming into the limelight. Users trust blockchain mechanisms because of their security and fast transactions. Still, if the security of the blockchain is breached so easily, the user of the same will decrease. The year 2022 is not going well, and at the start of July first, NFTs theft of the month took place amount of $150,000, and another theft is nearly 375K, and if the process of theft continues, then the user base is likely to decrease.
