Swiss luxury watch manufacturer A. Favre & Fils have announced the upcoming launch of their crypto wallet watch to launch in 2019.
A. Favre & Fils, a Swiss luxury watch brand that has been in existence since 1718, has announced their upcoming crypto friendly watch set for release later this year. The Swiss watch company who operates under the mantra "Always forward, a quest for the absolute", announced the launch of their latest project on their website.
Their latest timepiece will feature a built-in cryptocurrency cold wallet with "state of the art proprietary security solution". The announcement boasts being the first ever Swiss handcrafted mechanical timepiece with a build in cryptocurrency cold wallet.
The innovative project pairs a ten-generation watchmaking company with the latest technology in digital asset storage. The announcement is set to push luxury watchmaking to the next level with Laurent Favre, the CEO commenting "“We have developed this first timepiece with the idea of offering something useful for the crypto-community, not simply something to spend their money on.”
The luxury watch company is set to launch it's prototype mid-2019 with prices set to start at $100,000.
