Plume, an open finance platform focused on bringing real-world assets on-chain, has launched FACTOR, a new yield-generating vault focused on real-world alternative assets. The project was developed with Tradable and Deep Ocean Partners and gives qualified on-chain investors access to opportunities in factoring, financing, and infrastructure.
Tradable provides tokenization and marketplace infrastructure, while Deep Ocean Partners manages private credit and originates the underlying opportunities.
FACTOR launched with $15 million in committed capital. Demand exceeded the initial allocation before launch, leaving the vault oversubscribed and currently capped. Its first portfolio is expected to include Net Working Capital (NWC) financing opportunities across asset-backed lending, receivables financing, and infrastructure-related assets.
The vault is designed around short-duration, self-liquidating assets and is expected to generate monthly interest in stablecoins. The structure also includes a liquidity mechanism that allows Deep Ocean Partners to repurchase vaulted positions through a warehouse facility when investors need liquidity.
The three companies plan to expand the vault as additional capacity becomes available. The project is also intended to increase access to NWC financing, a segment of private credit that has traditionally been less accessible to individual and crypto-native investors.
