Project Eleven, a cryptography company focused on post-quantum blockchain security, has announced a collaboration with the Solana Foundation, a non-profit supporting development of the Solana blockchain. The partnership is aimed at strengthening the Solana network against future risks linked to quantum computing. The work focuses on preparing the ecosystem for long-term security as quantum research continues to advance.

As part of the collaboration, Project Eleven carried out a detailed assessment of how quantum technologies could affect Solana’s core systems. The review covered network infrastructure, user wallets, validator operations, and the cryptographic methods that secure transactions.

Based on this analysis, the team also built and tested a Solana testnet that uses post-quantum digital signatures. The testnet demonstrated that quantum-resistant transactions can function across the full transaction flow and remain scalable.
