Coinmarketcap (CMC) listed three Shiba Inu fake tokens, allowing Malicious actors to vandalize the SHIB listing.

The listing of three fake tokens and Coinmarketcap nonresponsive behavior was confirmed by Shiba’s Official Twitter handle:

Shibtoken writes:

“Please be aware that Coinmarketcap knowingly listed three fake contract addresses for SHIB; none of these three addresses (Bep 20, Solana, or Terra) are valid shib addresses and are unsafe to use. Do not interact with addresses, and Do not purchase SHIB from them, as your funds will be lost forever.

Coinmarketcap has refused to communicate with the SHIB team on updates to the token page and willingly allowed Malicious actors to vandalize our listing. “

The matter is severe for ShibArmy because coinmarketcap is one of the most visited websites for getting information regarding cryptocurrencies standing at number 63 in the world’s top websites. If these fakes coins are not removed immediately, Many new comes can fall in buying these scam coins.

Shib teams remind that SHIB is an ERC-20 Token Only! and is not present on any other chain-like Solana, Binance chain, or Terra, so users need to be very cautious and not buy any fake Shiba coin CMC.

Shib team requests its Army to remain calm as Shiba Inu breeds are working diligently to handle this matter.

“At this time, we ask the ShibArmy to act calm, and professional. Our team has already submitted inquiries for the 3 erroneous contracts in regards to SHIB at CoinMarketCap. We are awaiting a response, and want nothing more than to come to a conclusion for the community.”

Coinmarketcap has been causing grave problems for some coins, recently Floki Inu claimed that they had burned 10.65 Trillion Tokens, But Coinmarketcap Do Not Reflect Such Burnings In Floki Max Supply, and also CryptoCom CEO strongly Criticized Coinmarketcap for providing incorrect information about his exchange. Baby Doge, another rising meme coin, posted a complaint that Coinmarketcap refuses to verify their supply and demand for a more decentralized version of coinmarketcap.
