WARNING: Neo founder Da Hongfei’s X account compromised

Neo founder Da Hongfei’s X (formerly Twitter) account, @dahongfei, has been compromised and is currently under the control of a hacker. The compromised account is actively tweeting about fraudulent airdrops in an attempt to steal funds from token holders.

The attack was first flagged at 4:20 p.m. GMT on July 6, 2024. Since then, the Neo team has been working to address the situation. The account is still under the control of the hacker at time of writing.

Please note that Da’s Twitter account was compromised starting at 00:20 AM on July 7th (UTC+8).
