The Shiba Inu ecosystem team issues another critical warning as scammers attempt to defraud unsuspecting investors following the launch of SHEboshi, a DN404 token.
In an X post today, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, cautioned SHIB holders to be wary of scammers.
No Official Airdrop
The seasoned marketing expert who usually follows trends within the Shiba Inu community warned that the team has no ongoing airdrop campaign.
Apparently, malefactors have launched a fake giveaway campaign to swindle unsuspecting Shiba Inu investors.
Notably, Lucie emphasized that any ongoing airdrop within the Shiba Inu ecosystem is a trap designed to steal users’ assets.
Tips to Stay Safe
Furthermore, the prominent marketing lead shared some safety tips to keep users safe. According to Lucie, holders of Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens should always visit the official channels on Telegram and Discord to check whether or not any giveaway link posted on X came from the team.
In the meantime, she shared a link to SHEboshi’s official account on the X platform to keep users updated.
Beware of scammers posting about airdrops and phishing links!

Her recent warning about fake giveaways within the Shiba Inu ecosystem follows a similar message she shared yesterday on X.
While commending Shiba Inu’s recent growth, Lucie urged the community to be wary of scams. Per Lucie, it is imperative to conduct due diligence before investing in any crypto project that requires users to connect their wallets to a platform.
Shiba Inu Identifies Potential Scam
The Shiba Inu team has proven to be ahead of scammers as they consistently issue warnings to protect community members.
Yesterday, the official X account of Shibarmy Scam Alerts raised concerns about a project with the handle ‘@thesheboshis.’ The project purports to advocate empowerment and equality for everyone while attributing itself to SHEboshi to claim affiliations with the recently launched Shiba Inu’s DN404 token.
Expectedly, Shibarmy Scam Alerts warned Shiba Inu’s community members to be wary of the project, which posts phishing links targeting unsuspecting SHIB investors.
Scammers Activities Heighten After SHEboshi Launch
Following the launch of SHEboshi, scammers have intensified operations in the Shiba Inu community. These illicit actors deploy malicious tactics to lure users into clicking phishing links.
Recall that SHEboshi sold out instantly in the second phase of the minting process, with many investors missing out. Consequently, scammers launched fake SHEboshi giveaways to prey on users who could not acquire SHEboshi during the minting phase.
Clicking the phishing link and connecting your wallet to the fake platform for the giveaway would give the scammers complete control over your funds.
To avoid being scammed, it is advisable to always conduct due diligence before connecting your wallets to any platform.
