The former first employee and CPO of NASDAQ-traded Playtika, Raz Friedman, is now the official Chief Product Officer (CPO) of MonkeyLeague. Friedman brings on board a wealth of experience from his previous position as a CPO at Playtika.
Friedman was among the first entrepreneurs to build mass-market games for Mobile and Facebook. He was the pioneer of the fermium model, which is at the core of the economy of MonkeyLeague.

Friedman has almost 20 years of experience in game design and development having been Playtika’s first employee.

Raz Friedman’s role at MonkeyLeague
At MonkeyLeague, Friedman will be in charge of building an AAA-quality gaming experience and maintaining a sustainable Web3.0 gaming experience for both play-to-earn (P2E) and free-to-play. MonkeyLeague has entrusted Friedman with the task of cementing the game as a full-fledged Web3.0 powerhouse.
Commenting on the news of his appointment, Raz Friedman said:

Prior to being appointed the CPO of MonkeyLeague, Friedman was already affiliated with MonkeyLeague as one of the co-founders and his decision to accept the role of CPO shows that the former Playtika veteran believes in the future of gaming. The new role will allow him to fully focus on the project’s development.
Friedman shall also superintend the development of additional esports games and brands under the MonekyLeague ecosystem. The P2E game has plans to create a wide Web3.0 esports ecosystem with multiple interconnected roles, ways of engaging, and ways of earning.
What MonkeyLeague offers
Besides its future ambitions, MonekyLeague is currently the first to introduce active and passive gameplay at this scale. It provides players with an opportunity to compete through match play, owning land and stadiums, scouting what other players are doing, and managing teams.
Friedman is expected to steer MonkeyLeague as it competes in a world where there is a rush to web3 gaming with many emphasizing the earning aspect and much less on the production, entertainment value, and game mechanics.
