Reality TV star and socialite Paris Hilton recently said that the metaverse is the “future of partying, going out, interacting with people, and being social.” Her point gets proven as she earlier hosted a massive metaverse New Year’s Eve party on her virtual island on Roblox. Appearing as a guest on the ‘Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon', the hotel heiress spoke about the metaverse, NFTs, and her experience in the digital asset space where she revealed on buying a Bored Ape Jimmy who is a member of the Bored Yacht Club himself. Hilton also said that she will be releasing her first NFT collection with Super Plastic, a vinyl toy and digital collectibles company on the Origin protocol 'soon,' but didn’t provide much details regarding its timeframe. On Jan. 18, Super Plastic dropped its 'Headtripz' NFT collection, featuring a collaborative piece with Hilton. The NFT collection entitled 'Forever Fairytale,' includes pictures with her newly-wed husband Carter Reum. She then went on to gift the first NFT in the collection to Fallon, and additional NFTs to each member of the audience.

To which, Fallon said Super Plastic is "I think that’s the first NFT giveaway in television history.”

In April 2021, the reality TV star sold her 'Iconic Crypto Queen' NFT for a whopping $1.1 million. Her NFT collection now includes a total of 141 pieces, including a Bored Ape and works of Grimes and Steve Aoki.
