Blockchain security company OpenZeppelin launched its metaverse security service, and The Sandbox became its first client. For The Sandbox, OpenZeppelin will audit smart contracts, track vulnerabilities, and detect potential threats to metaverse projects in real time.
The Sandbox uses an OpenZeppelin security tool called Defender, which provides an overview of the Web3 transactions taking place in the Sandbox.
The tool also allows The Sandbox to automate smart contract administration, including access control, updates, and suspension, as well as quickly monitor and respond to smart contract exploits and receive notifications via email, Slack, Telegram, or Discord.
