According to a business announcement made on Monday, users of the Ifland metaverse, operated by South Korean telecom giant SK Telecom (SKT), may get money by hosting gatherings in the virtual world. SKT has developed an "Ifland Point" system to launch its metaverse economy.

Introduction Of "Ifland Point"

SKT launched the "Ifland Point" as the initial step in building and regenerating the metaverse economic system ecosystem. Users of Ifland can gain points by signing in at a specific time and doing tasks. Additionally, points are awarded regularly for good attendance and occasionally as a surprise. Users who hold virtual meetups on Ifland can contribute their points to other users who do the same. These hosts can transfer their earned points to personal accounts. In the future, SKT intends to combine "Ifland Point" with cryptocurrency to diversify the economic structure and allow anyone to establish a reputation for themselves in the metaverse and develop an ecosystem using "Ifland Point."

Ifland Studio To Create Avatars

The most recent Ifland update now features "Ifland Studio." Based on 11 templates, "Ifland Studio" offers a feature that allows anybody to easily and quickly design avatar costumes. Additionally, if someone uploads their outfit to the official "Ifland Studio" website, they may share it with others and, in the future, engage in trade through "Ifland Point." SKT will host an event from September 13 to September 25 to mark the studio launch, where participants may display their costumes and win prizes such as iPads, Galaxy Buds 2, and Starbucks gift cards.
