Craig Wright, the self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto, has recently sued Bitcoin developers requesting that they gave him access to BTC worth $5 billion stolen from his computer. This is the second lawsuit within the cryptocurrency industry targeting the developers of Bitcoin, BTC Cash, BCH ABC, and BSV.

Craig Wright Sues Bitcoin Developers Claiming He Was Hacked

Wright proclaims himself as Satoshi Nakamoto, the supposed creator of Bitcoin, and has recently targeted the developers of some crypto assets requesting them to retrieve access to BTC stolen from his computer. The stolen Bitcoin is worth about $5 billion.

The narrative of him being Satoshi Nakamoto has also been highlighted again without evidence by a law firm that is going to represent him in his lawsuit against cryptocurrency space representatives.

Ontier, a litigation law firm based in the United Kingdom, recently published a press release declaring that it has informed the developers of BTC, BCH, BSV, and BCH ABC of the lawsuit.

The law firm acts on behalf of Tulip Trading Limited, a Craig Wright-owned Seychelles-based company. It said:

“In February 2020, Dr. Wright’s personal computer was hacked by persons unknown and encrypted private keys to two addresses, which hold substantial quantities of Bitcoin belonging to TTL, were stolen.”

The lawsuit further added:

“These assets were, and continue to be, owned by TTL. The theft is the subject of an ongoing investigation by the Cyber Crime division of the South East England Regional Organized Crime Unit.”

Lawsuit Requested the Developers to Enable TTL to Regain Access

The request made to the developers asked them to:

“Enable TTL to regain access to and control of its Bitcoin on the grounds that they owe Bitcoin owners both tortious and fiduciary duties under English law as a result of the high level of power and control they hold over their respective blockchains.”

As per the estimations made regarding the value of the stolen BTC, it is worth over £3.5 billion or about $5 billion.
