Israeli Authorities Seize Binance Accounts Used by Hamas

Israeli officials seized about 190 Binance accounts allegedly used by Hamas and the Islamic State to finance their activities. Binance claimed it works diligently to comply with regulations. The UN has warned of the increasing use of crypto in terror financing, and countries like Australia and India are taking measures to prevent this. Chainalysis reported that illegal activity funding through crypto has quadrupled over the past five years. Israel is also working on crypto regulation, including changes to make it easier to report taxes and establishing investor protection.
