The law firms Miller Thompson and Cox and Palmer have been chosen by Nova Scotia Supreme Court Judge Michael Wood to represent as many as 115,000 QuadrigaCX users. According to the court document, the two firms were chosen for their experience with the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act, which the exchange filed in accordance with when they asked for creditor protection at the beginning of February.

The document states Cox and Palmer are to focus on local litigation practices and court appearances, while Miller Thompson will "provide expertise in dealing with large creditor groups and cryptocurrency technology."
