Pudgy Penguins, global digital brand that began as a 2021 NFT collection, and Mythical Games, blockchain-based game company, have announced the global release of Pudgy Party — a new mobile game featuring characters from the Pudgy Penguins brand. The game combines casual multiplayer gameplay with blockchain-based ownership of digital items.
In Pudgy Party, players control penguin characters in a series of mini-games set in a winter-themed world. The game is designed for both solo play and multiplayer competition. Players can customize their penguins with outfits and accessories, which exist as either standard in-game items or limited edition versions that can be traded through Mythical’s blockchain marketplace. Some items can be upgraded or fused to create unique variations, while others can be converted into tradable assets.
The game also includes tournaments, seasonal events, and global leaderboards. The first season, called Dopameme Rush, begins on August 29 and introduces meme-inspired costumes.
