Bluzelle (BLZ) has announced that it has completed its full upgrade to Stargate, the latest version of Cosmos, which offers users and developers a new breed of features. This makes Bluzelle the first pure GameFi chain on Cosmos. The upgrade is timed to address growing dissatisfaction among Web3 gamers with the current game latency and financial transaction fees. It is frustrating and annoying for players who often buy, sell, and trade NFT assets. Furthermore, since NFTs are stored on a central server, if the server goes down, so do the player's assets.
Bluzelle to enhance gaming and boost Cosmos adoption.
In response to these growing problems, Bluzelle has now announced that it has completed transforming into a full layer-one chain focused on gaming and driving user adoption to the Cosmos ecosystem. As per the announcement, by upgrading to Cosmos Stargate, Bluzelle can provide a fast chain that reduces costs and simplifies the gaming experience for players. This data layer ensures that NFTs and game assets are safe so that users can work with high-quality Cosmos DeFi applications and games. By upgrading to Stargate, users and developers will have access to a new decentralized storage layer that improves the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) protocol's robustness and reliability. IPFS is the storage model of choice for most NFT assets, including Cryptopunks and Beeple. In addition, the upgrade enables the staking and lending of NFTs and in-game assets by linking Bluzelle to DeFi chains like Osmosis and others through the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC). This opens doors to mutually beneficial commercial and economic models in the gaming industry. Many game ideas now include cryptocurrency and in-game rewards as a way for players, investors, developers, and game designers to all share in the value created by their participation and contributions. Bluzelle has integrated the Keplr wallet, which provides Web3 gamers with one common standard throughout the Cosmos chains and different games. Keplr, built with Cosmos's IBC protocol, is similar to MetaMask, which allows users to transfer digital assets across more than 20 chains and hosts over 250 apps and services worth $100 billion. Bluzelle has created a marketplace where games can mint and trade NFTs and game-related assets. Games can also launch game-specific tokens that utilize $BLZ for transaction fees.
The growing popularity of Web3 gaming
The success of Axie Infinity demonstrates that blockchain gaming has the potential to surpass far traditional gaming, which has been one of the most popular and pervasive sectors of the conventional economy for quite some time. Besides the inclusive economic model, Web3 gaming is appealing because it embraces the idea of the metaverse. In this immersive digital world, players may interact with each other, virtual items, and settings. It also provides more security, autonomy, and community participation in the game experience. Bluzelle's commitment to building out GameFi on multiple networks and its ability to handle 10,000 transactions per second set up a bullish case for BLZ and Bluzelle in the future.
