AEON, a settlement layer for the agentic economy, has expanded its payment infrastructure into South Asia by integrating Bangladesh’s mobile financial services bKash and Nagad. bKash is Bangladesh’s leading mobile financial service, while Nagad is a digital wallet backed by the Bangladesh Post Office.
The integration allows users to pay participating merchants with crypto, while AEON handles the conversion and settles payments in Bangladeshi taka. Customers can pay directly from their crypto wallets or use services such as Bitget Wallet, Binance Wallet, OKX Wallet, Solana Pay, TokenPocket, KuCoin, and Bybit.
The company has also announced expansion into Argentina, Zambia, and Bolivia. AEON says its settlement layer now connects crypto payments with more than 50 million merchants and over 10 000 brands worldwide, including McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, and UNIQLO.
