Xryma Plc, a Cyprus-based financial technology company, has announced the upcoming launch of its regulated euro-backed stablecoin XrymaCoin (XREUR). The company published its whitepaper under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCAR) regulation after notifying the Central Bank of Cyprus. XREUR is scheduled to become available to the public on September 3, 2026.

The stablecoin will be issued directly through Xryma’s platform, where both individuals and businesses will be able to subscribe using open banking payments, the European Central Bank’s T2 real-time settlement system, or merchant API integration.

Xryma says XREUR combines several payment technologies into a single infrastructure. The system supports SEPA Instant transfers, Mastercard-based open banking services, and integration with the ECB’s settlement network. After redeeming the stablecoin, users will be able to receive euros instantly or send payouts to more than 60 countries by the next business day.
