Trump Media & Technology Group will launch a paid Truth API on Aug. 1, giving financial institutions real-time access to posts from the platform’s top trending accounts, including President Donald Trump and other senior US officials, Axios reported Thursday.
Interim CEO Kevin McGurn said the service aims to replace unauthorized data scraping with a faster, licensed product, with financial news outlets and high-frequency trading firms already signed up.
The company also plans to expand the API and explore licensing Truth Social data to AI companies as it builds recurring revenue beyond advertising and subscriptions.
Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) extended their gains in premarket trading after closing about 6% higher in the previous session, per Yahoo Finance.
