Although the cryptocurrency market is trending downwards, partnership news continues to emerge.
At this point, the latest news comes from the synthetic dollar protocol Ethereum ($ENA). According to reports, Ethereum has partnered with and received investment from global asset manager Janus Henderson.
Ethereum announced it has partnered with global asset manager Janus Henderson to support the joint allocation and distribution of its tokenized collateralized loan obligation (CLO) fund.
As part of the partnership, Janus Henderson made a strategic investment in Ethereum’s governance token, $ENA, although details and the amount of the investment were not disclosed.
The statement also indicated that the companies are exploring allocating $USDe as part of treasury cash management and distributing it to clients through an ETF.
“As part of the partnership, Janus Henderson made a strategic investment in Ethena’s governance token, allocating $USDe as part of treasury cash management, and is also exploring ways to distribute $USDe to its customer base through exchange-traded instruments.”
As is known, $USDe operates differently from other stablecoins. Unlike other stablecoins, $USDe is not only backed by US bonds or actual dollars, but can also be backed by Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies.
