US President Donald Trump made noteworthy statements regarding the ongoing tensions and ceasefire talks with Iran. Trump described Iran’s latest offer as “completely unacceptable” and “a foolish proposal,” while stating that the possibility of a diplomatic solution remains on the table.
Trump reiterated that they would not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons, saying, “We have a plan regarding Iran.” He argued that the US was acting in the name of global security. The US President also claimed that the Iranian side had at one point said that the US could provide nuclear materials, but later reneged on its previous stance.
