Thunes, a global payments infrastructure provider connecting banks and wallets, announced its integration with the Circle Payments Network Managed Payments system. Thunes said the move aims to improve interoperability between traditional finance and digital assets.
Circle and Thunes have collaborated since 2024, focusing on the use of USDC for liquidity management. The stablecoin has been integrated into Thunes’ Direct Global Network, which spans more than 140 countries.
Thunes noted that its partners, including banks and payment platforms, can now manage liquidity continuously. The system also improves capital efficiency by reducing idle funds and supports connections to billions of wallets and accounts worldwide.
