MetaComp Pte Ltd, a licensed Singapore-based provider of stablecoin-powered payment infrastructure, announced it will distribute RLUSD, a stablecoin issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, a subsidiary of Ripple Labs. The company will offer institutional clients access to RLUSD through its regulated platform.
RLUSD will also be available on StableX, MetaComp’s programmable foreign exchange and cross-border payments platform. StableX uses stablecoins to support currency exchange and payment services, allowing institutions to conduct cross-border transactions quickly and with transparent pricing. The platform currently supports more than 31 currencies.
MetaComp said the addition of RLUSD strengthens StableX’s role as a hub for stablecoin and FX liquidity in Asia.
