Crypto Czar Sacks: Testing Feasibility of Bitcoin Reserve

David Sacks has finally broken the silence on the discussion around the Bitcoin reserve and the President’s view on it. He said, “One of the things the president instructed us to do was to evaluate the idea of a Bitcoin reserve. So, that is one of the things our internal administration group will look into. That’s the first thing we will assess for the feasibility of a Bitcoin reserve.”

Crypto Czar Highlights Stablecoin’s Potential to Strengthen USD’s Dominance

While the voice for Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is becoming louder, crypto supporters have become anxious to hear from officials and want to know what’s cooking behind closed doors.

Under Trump’s brand new administration, David Sacks passed another bold statement, saying that the “Golden Age is coming” for cryptocurrencies. “I look forward to working with each of you in creating a golden age in digital assets,” he said to the members of Congress.

While addressing the press conference, Sacks also revealed the formation of a new group of financial regulators, who will prepare regulatory frameworks for digital assets and crypto innovations.

Furthermore, he also highlighted stablecoin’s potential to ensure the American dollar’s dominance internationally. According to him, stablecoins can increase the usage of USD digitally, which could also create trillions of dollars of demand for the US treasury and reduce interest rates in the long term.
